I was very nervous about the election too but luckily it exceeded my wildest dreams :)

Just saw a few clips from NIN's Coachella performance yesterday. They were great, but I liked them more when they used guitars and live drums besides the synths. For me they were peak some time around the Fragility v2.0 tour. But I'm a metal head :) Anyway, kudos to Reznor for constantly changing and progressing, reinventing the band every time.

I was ecstatic about the elections, and same here, I couldn’t even imagine such an undeniable landslide defeat for Orban, well done Hungary!!!

As for Nine Inch Nails: I can’t argue about Fragility 2.0 being a high point, but of course I’m biased since that was my first tour seeing them :) I probably wouldn’t love it if they shifted to this fully electronic sound for the long term, but Trent tends to get bored easily so I wouldn’t be surprised if the next project is built totally different. This Coachella performance seems like the conclusion of the Peel It Back tour, a closing of a chapter and for that I think it’s excellent. Oh, and the album version sounds fantastic!
